Job Description RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Project Engineer in the DC/Norfolk VA area. This is a Full-Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid ( you will travel client sites throughout this area) assignment with our client. Overview of YOUR role as a Project Engineer: Five to 10 years of experience in the natural gas industry preferably with a focus on transmission pipelines. This role will be managing multiple large-scale projects at a time and requires a PE or ability to get one within a year. As a Project Engineer YOU will: Lead and manage 5-10 large-scale gas transmission projects, ensuring timely and successful completion. Coordinate and support multiple teams, clients, and projects, maintaining clear and effective communication. Utilize Microsoft Office, MS Projects, and utility-based GIS applications to manage project documentation and schedules. Engage in client-facing activities, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Ensure all projects comply with industry standards and regulations, maintaining a high level of safety and quality. YOU are the ideal Project Engineer candidate if you have: 5-10 years of experience in the natural gas industry, with a focus on transmission pipelines. Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within one year. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Projects, and utility-based GIS applications. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CAD software, specifically Civil 3D or MicroStation.
