Head of Ecommerce
Agora Talent is excited to be partnered with a leading and a award winning beauty brand based in Stockton-on-Tees. Since being founded over 20 years ago, the business has flourished and its products have gained a leading reputation in the UK and internationally. They are known for their market leading quality, range of products, innovation, and customer service standards.
The team are rapidly expanding and are looking for a Head of Ecommerce to head up the digital marketing department and have sole responsibility for all things Ecommerce. This is an exciting chance to shape the future of the Ecommerce department and build out a team in the near future. This is an excellent position for someone who enjoys working independently and autonomously, and wants to be a part of a hard-working, collaborative team.
What you will be doing
* Lead and execute the strategic planning and implementation of all e-commerce activities.
* Manage and maintain the ecommerce platform, develop and implement strategies that optimise customer experience, website performance, increase conversion rates, and drive revenue.
* Collaborate with the website development team to implement market leading technology solutions and develop a long-term feature roadmap to improve E-commerce performance.
* Utilise data and analytics to gain customer insights, deliver performance improvements, identify new opportunities, achieve KPIs, and inform future strategy.
* Advocate for a digital-first approach across all areas of the business, fostering a culture of innovation and adaption to digital advancements.
* Recruit and manage an E-commerce team, responsible for website optimisation, website management, email, and sales optimisation. Providing effective training, coaching, and mentorship to empower team members.
* Work closely with external and internal teams to drive and optimise new customer acquisition, create, and execute promotions, and other initiatives to increase sales and customer engagement.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment to overall business objectives and to optimise the customer experience across all touch points.
What we are looking for
* A track record of success in a high growth DTC environment is essential.
* Proven experience of delivering improvements to key E-commerce metrics (performance, optimisation, customer experience, etc).
* Experience at a senior level E-commerce position, with comfort of hands-on execution.
* Experience in managing E-commerce projects.
* Strong data-focused skills that support trend analysis and decision-making from various data points.
* Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing E-commerce team, including hiring, training, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
* They will embrace the requirement to roll up their own sleeves in a hyper growth environment and be a high energy self-starter.
