Finance Administrator (FTC)
Team: Accounts
Location: Hybrid working – Plymouth
Working Pattern: Full time

What you’ll do
* Process financial data accurately, including payments, receipts and client account transactions.
* Assist with bank reconciliations and other routine accounting tasks.
* Follow clear processes and procedures, including learning Solicitors Accounts Rules.
* Use financial systems and spreadsheets to keep records up to date.
* Develop strong organisational and prioritisation skills in a busy environment.
* Support the wider Accounts team during peak periods when needed.
* Commit to a fixed‑term contract of 8 months, contributing consistently throughout.
What we’re looking for
* Previous office experience in an administrative, accounts, finance or data‑entry focused role.
* Interest or experience in numbers, finance or working with financial data.
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
* Confidence following processes and handling repetitive tasks accurately.
* Basic to intermediate IT skills (Excel, Outlook and Word).
* Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Clear, professional communication skills.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn within a supportive team.
