Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth through challenging projects.
The Cloud Engineer will develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, providing proactive service and acting as a bridge between engineering and service teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:
* Train staff and customers on products and solutions.
* Support Professional Services and Sales within Network Services.
* Monitor customer incidents and report on accounts as needed.
* Identify trends, security threats, and technical bulletins impacting customers.
* Manage documentation related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services.
* Follow processes for task management, reporting, and documentation updates.
* Assist with PoC scenarios, Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
* Create technical documentation such as TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW.
* Review engineering documentation peer-wise.
* Pre-stage equipment for customer sites as part of projects.
* Participate in customer meetings like support reviews and incident reviews.
* Ensure accurate timesheet submissions.
* Link certifications and training to business objectives.
* Complete overtime and expenses accurately and on time.
* Adhere to GDPR and security policies.
Who you are:
The ideal Cloud Engineer will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including some Azure knowledge, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange. We will support your development in these areas. You should have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and experience in a support environment, with on-premise Cloud Services experience being desirable.
* VCP 6.x-DCV (Desirable)
* MCSA: Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or above
* Networking Concepts knowledge
* Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or above
* Azure MFA and Identity Services
* Microsoft System Configuration Manager
* Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 or above
* VMware vCloud Director knowledge
* Leadership qualities and customer-facing skills
