Senior Credit Control Role Overview
NC Associates are excited to be partnering with a leading and growing organisation in Chester City Centre to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and results-driven individual to join a dynamic finance team in a people-focused business offering great career development. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will play a key role in managing the company's Credit Control function and maintaining a strong ledger.
Senior Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:
Proactively chasing current and aged debt via telephone and email, ensuring prompt payments.
Working to individual revenue targets to ensure overall team efficiency.
Reporting on ledger balances and providing updates to management.
Managing problematic debt, taking necessary action and escalating as required.
Query resolution regarding billing errors, working with the wider Finance Team.
Supporting cash allocation processes.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
At least 2 years of experience in a B2B Credit Control role.
A motivated and target-driven approach to debt collection.
Confident written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships.
Excellent time management skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve individual and team targets.
Passion for developing a long-term career in Credit Control.
