About the role
We are looking for an Exhibitions Curator to lead the development and delivery of our programme of two exhibition seasons a year, to embed the art of GF and Mary Watts in our exhibitions and creative programmes.
You will develop exhibitions which engage the widest range of audiences contributing to public engagement activities including talks and tours to further enhance wide-ranging access to our collections and displays.
You will be responsible for researching and writing exhibition materials including interpretation and digital content and will play an active part in the development of initiatives that enhance access to and engagement with our exhibitions.
About you
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced curator with specialist knowledge in nineteenth and early twentieth-century British art, history, and visual culture and a strong working knowledge of contemporary artistic practice.
You should have experience of developing and delivering exhibitions in a museum or gallery with proven project management experience and the ability to collaborate effectively to successfully deliver creative and accessible exhibitions.
