The company is known for its supportive and enjoyable working environment, long-standing client relationships, and ongoing investment in training, development, and genuine career progression opportunities.The OpportunityDue to continued growth across their testing division, the company is seeking an experienced Electrical Tester to join the team. The role focuses on commercial electrical testing, including EICRs, emergency lighting, fault finding, and electrical compliance work across a range of commercial buildings, with some domestic testing as required.This position is ideally suited to an experienced Electrical Tester or Electrical Test Engineer with strong EICR experience and confidence working to the latest electrical regulations. You will carry out testing, produce detailed reports, and ensure all works are completed accurately, safely, and to a high professional standard.ResponsibilitiesCarry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial and domestic propertiesComplete emergency lighting testing, fault finding, diagnostics, and minor remedial worksProduce accurate test certificates and associated compliance documentationEnsure all works meet BS 7671 and current IET Wiring RegulationsMaintain testing equipment and ensure calibration complianceWork in line with pre-planned testing schedules and job sheetsLiaise with clients, site staff, and supervisors to coordinate access and worksSupport the wider electrical maintenance team where requiredTake part in a call-out rota for urgent testing and electrical safety issuesRequirements35 years experience in electrical testing and producing EICRsNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation18th Edition2391 or 2392 (or equivalent Inspection and Testing qualification)Strong EICR and inspection experienceGood understanding of UK electrical testing standardsExperience using testing software and digital reporting toolsFull UK driving licenceRemuneration Package
