About the Role:
As a Patient Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support throughout their journey with us. You will be the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through appointments, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a smooth flow of communication between patients and our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a key liaison between patients and healthcare professionals to ensure clear and effective communication.
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments to support efficient clinic operations and optimal use of resources.
Deliver excellent customer service, supporting patients throughout their appointment journey and assisting with booking and scheduling.
Respond to patient enquiries promptly, providing accurate and clear information in a professional manner.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.
Process patient referrals and follow up on outstanding appointments as required.
Work collaboratively with medical and administrative teams to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
Contribute to a welcoming, supportive environment that promotes a positive patient experience.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Proficiency in using electronic health records and scheduling software.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
