Job Title\: Quality Assurance Engineer - Supplier Location: Barrow-in-Furness/Sheffield - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: £47,017 What you’ll be doing: You will review and maintain supplier First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), Quality Plans (QP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) You will be mentoring, facilitating or supporting product and process “Non-conformance” activities You'll establish and maintain customer relationships, attending meetings and facilitate/supporting customer audits You will input Quality data into relevant toolsets / documents / records and monitor as required You will maintain Material Review Boards, including record keeping, raising permits and stakeholder engagement You will be supporting suppliers with their corrective actions and root cause identification, ensuring corrective actions are completed in a timely manner Your skills and experiences: Essential: Qualified to an HNC/ HND / Degree standard or have equivalent relevant experience Experience in a Quality related role Supplier audit experience Experience of working to ISO 9001 standards Desirable: Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) experience ERP experience i.e. SAP Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts - you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.
