Job Description
* Lead and develop a team of seven accountants, managing workload, performance, and career growth.
* Own the external financial reporting process, including interim and full-year reports.
* Prepare and present reports to the Audit Committee.
* Manage the relationship with external auditors and oversee the statutory accounts process.
* Act as a centre of excellence for technical accounting matters, including IFRS 16 and fixed asset reporting.
* Drive process and control improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
* Support investor relations and capital markets activities.
* Develop and maintain group accounting policies.
The Successful Applicant
* ACA-qualified, ideally with Big 4 experience.
* Proven track record in a PLC financial reporting environment.
* Strong technical accounting expertise with hands-on experience in consolidation tools.
* Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development.
* Ability to communicate complex financial matters to senior stakeholders.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to drive continuous improvement.
