Role responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end sales process – Drive revenue across biomolecule and advanced therapies product portfolio.
* Responsible for lead generation and management including identification, initial qualification and development of leads.
* Deliver hands‑on demos and technical seminars that showcase our cutting‑edge solutions.
* Collaborate with product management, global sales team and marketing on campaigns, trade shows and webinars.
* Represent Biotage at key industry events and work closely with our automation platform partners.
Skills and experience
* Bachelor’s degree within Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
* Proven sales experience of instruments, consumables and software sales within Biopharma/Life Sciences
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
* Expertise in plasmid, viral vector, antibody and protein purification. Knowledge of cell and gene therapy application areas, and mass spec sample prep would be advantageous.
* Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
* Knowledge of cell & gene therapy application areas, and mass spec sample prep an advantage.
* Proficient in the use of CRM (Salesforce).
This is a field-based role working at customer sites and in Biology laboratories (Field based 2 – 4 days)
