We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. The role is based in Burghfield, between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking. The salary starts from £64,780, depending on your qualifications and experience. The working pattern is a 9-day working fortnight.

Role Overview
As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead a major nuclear re-kit project, ensuring delivery of critical milestones. Your responsibilities include managing project timelines, monitoring progress, overseeing delivery partners, and ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards. You will work within a matrix team to ensure project success and support AWE's mission.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage projects focusing on governance, compliance, and reporting.
* Manage resources, including personnel and budgets.
* Lead project planning and support change initiatives aligned with the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
* Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
* Perform other duties as required by the company.
Candidate Requirements
* Project Management qualification or equivalent experience is beneficial.
* Significant experience in nuclear construction or re-kit projects at a senior level is preferred.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships across all levels.
* Experience managing multiple complex, high-value projects.
* Proficiency in creating and maintaining project documentation, including plans and risk registers.
* Ability to track project deliverables and implement KPIs.
* Experience managing project risks with mitigation and contingency planning.
* Experience managing projects through their lifecycle and governance processes.
* Supportive leadership style that encourages team adaptability and alignment with company vision.
