About our AAT programme: Our two-year accountancy apprenticeship programme provides structured training designed to support you in completing your AAT qualification. Following successful completion, apprentices typically progress to study for the ACA qualification over a further three years. What you will do: As an AAT Student Accountant, you will join our Business Services team where you will have the opportunity to help deliver an exceptional service to our first-class and diverse client portfolio. These include high‑net‑worth individuals, multinational groups, entrepreneurial start‑ups, and mature businesses across sectors such as motor sport, luxury retail, property development, technology, financial services, and the not‑for‑profit sector. Responsibilities will include: Coding and inputting of invoices onto Xero, Sage, Infor10 (Sun accounts) and other accounting packages as applicable Coordinating approval processes for purchase ledger entries Processing payments via BACS or cheque Preparing cheques and organising signatures with the partners Updating cash books Performing Bank reconciliations Uploading information to client intranet sites Filing, archiving and ad hoc data entry tasks What we are looking for: Three A-Levels (or equivalent) at grades A-C GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at grades 9-6 A strong desire to pursue a long-term career in accounting Passion for numbers and excellent attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage and communicate effectively with partners, clients and colleagues Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively High levels of motivation and commitment to balancing study with work Why join us: At Rawlinson & Hunter LLP, we offer a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages professional growth.
