Job Title: Tenancy Specialist (ASB Focus) – Interim Contract
Location: South East (with monthly travel to West Sussex)
Rate: £19 per hour (PAYE) / £23 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Type: Rolling interim contract
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Tenancy Specialist with a strong background in Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) management to join a dynamic team in the South East. This interim role focuses on managing tenancy issues, including ASB cases, and may require occasional court attendance.
You will work closely with residents, local authorities, and internal teams to ensure tenancy compliance, resolve disputes, and maintain a safe and positive living environment. Travel to Haywards Heath is required once per month, and flexibility for court attendance is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage tenancy-related issues, with a focus on ASB cases, investigations, and resolutions.
* Conduct regular visits to properties and engage with residents to address concerns and enforce tenancy agreements.
* Provide expert advice and support on ASB policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
* Represent the organisation in court when required, ensuring cases are prepared thoroughly and professionally.
* Collaborate with internal teams, local authorities, and external partners to deliver effective tenancy management.
* Maintain accurate records and produce reports on tenancy and ASB activities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Tenancy Specialist, Housing Officer, or similar role, with a focus on ASB management.
* Strong knowledge of tenancy laws, ASB legislation, and court procedures.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage a varied caseload, and meet deadlines.
* Willingness to travel to Haywards Heath once per month and attend court as needed.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
