Join Our Team as a Nursery Room Leader! We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to guide and support our team in providing outstanding care and education. Role: Nursery Room Leader-£500 Welcome Perk
Organisation: Sixpenny Day Nursery, operated by Sixpenny (part of the WCI Brokerage group)
Location: Sixpenny Day Nursery, Old Farrowing House, Roundway Hill Business Centre, Devizes, Wiltshire, SN10 2LT
Pay: £27,352 per annum, based on experience (40 hours per week)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – Full Time
About Our Nursery
Our purpose-built Sixpenny Day Nursery at Roundway Hill Farm provides a stimulating learning environment for the children of the Devizes community. The nursery has outdoor learning, a Forest School approach, and dedicated spaces for animals. We are Ofsted rated Good and located near Roundway Hill Business Centre with on-site parking.

What Being a Nursery Room Leader Involves
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will work alongside the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire your team while delivering exceptional care and education. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and mentoring the team to provide high-quality early years education with passion and energy.
* Supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent quality.
* Acting as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
* Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support the best outcomes for children.
* Overseeing the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning opportunities.
* Taking charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Manager’s absence.
* Encouraging continuous improvement through feedback and supporting professional development.
* Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each child’s needs.
Qualifications: Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
