We are currently looking for x 2 Office Administrators to work for my large manufacturing client based in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle inbound customer calls and e-mails within specific response times.
2. Maximise sales opportunities, up-selling and cross selling where possible.
3. Follow agreed process for placing customer orders taking full ownership of each order processed.
4. Contacting customers for payment on proforma accounts and owning the order until the monies arrive.
5. Contacting customers if orders are delayed for any reason and owning this until resolved.
6. Follow agreed process for handling good stock returns, ensuring that customers are fully aware of the published terms and conditions.
7. Take ownership for any customer issues that arise, taking time to log them accurately. Minimise customer frustrations when dealing with issues across departments (e.g. credit, transport, etc) in line with the ‘One Team, One Customer’ approach.
8. Make outbound calls or correspond with customers as required, following up on 100% of any commitments made.
9. Maintain customer filing in logical and efficient manner.
10. Working closely with dedicated Area Sales Managers to increase sales where possible.
11. Raise customer invoices in line with the agreed company processes.
12. Daily entry and filing of customer POD’s and orders.
13. Cover reception duties when required.
14. Assist in credit control general admin tasks when required.
15. 37.5 hours per week
16. 8.30 – 4.30 or 9.00 – 5.00 shift pattern
17. Monday to Friday
18. Easy to use and follow working guides to help support them sales processing
19. Must have good experience with MS office skills
20. Attention to detail
21. Software packages used are business central
