BAE Systems, is looking for experienced Steelworkers to join their growing team in Barrow on a 12-month contract. Whether you're local or willing to travel, you'll be part of a specialist team working on the latest generation of submarines — including the Astute and Dreadnought projects. This is your chance to contribute to world-class engineering while earning great rates and gaining long-term experience in a high-impact environment.

PAYE Rates:
Barrow Shift Patterns & Hourly Rate
3 on 4 off - £27.65 Local & £36.79ph Non-Local (Including holiday Pay)
Night Shift - £30.62 Local & £39.78ph Non-Local (Including holiday Pay)

Responsibilities:
• Shipwright Work – Fabrication, assembly, and installation of steelwork, woodwork, and composite structures
• Manufacturing Tasks – Pre-fabrication and production of steel structures and components

Requirements:
• Recognised Metal Fabrication Apprenticeship
• Previous experience in marine, industrial, or Nuclear or Submarine environments preferred
• Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
