1. To be responsible for ensuring that Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to by all staff and also to comply with other regulations recommended by the Registering Authority.
2. To support the Home Manager in the prevention and/ or control of infections
3. To assist in the recruitment/induction and appraisal of other staff

6. To abide by all COSHH and Health and Safety regulations
7. To work as part of a team, attending staff meetings and complete all training as required.

12. To feedback to the Home Manager any concerns raised by residents, relatives or visiting authorises
13. To report any faults in equipment, maintenance or housekeeping issues to the Home Manager in a timely manner
14. To maintain appropriate records effectively.

15. To contribute to the efficient operation of the Home.
16. To work as part of a team, Key Worker System and give support to other staff
17. To observe the conditions of Employment and Health and Safety Policy, ensuring safe practice and guiding others.
18. To enhance and promote the residents quality of life.
19. To take care of the Home, its contents and consider the appearance of the Home.
20. To feedback any concerns identified that may affect the delivery of care for residents
21. To report and record relevant information, relaying any concerns to the senior members of staff.
22. To treat the residents individually with respect and preserve their personal dignity.
23. To assist in the formulation of care plans and reviews on individual residents to ensure person centred care is given.
24. To work under the supervision of the ‘Person in Charge’.
25. To be caring, sympathetic and tactful when dealing with residents and relatives.
26. To assist residents with their personal care giving help in areas of feeding, bathing, washing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene and sanitary requirements.
