Safety, Compliance & Assurance Lead - 9 month contract - RAF Marham, Norfolk - £50.01 ph UMB or £37.13 ph PAYE (Inside IR35)

The Role
Reporting to the Safety & Quality Manager and functionally through to both the Head of Quality and Head of Maintenance USP Programmes, the role provides a service to the UK sustainment Operation at RAF Marham.
The position is a high-profile position and is charged with undertaking all Safety Compliance & Assurance activity within the Integrated Training Centre (ITC) covering Regulatory, Certification, Legislative and Customer contractual requirements, operating within a joint (BAE Systems / Customer) "Enterprise" environment.
The performance of the Safety, Compliance and Assurance team directly influences the customer's perception of the company and supports the licence to operate and deploy a Maintenance Training capability.
The role assures continued ISO (Apply online only) and BS/EN 9100 approval certification, compliance to BAE Systems Operational framework and contractual mandates such as Defence Systems Approach to Training approval.
The post holder is responsible for providing assurance that all BAE Systems staff, sub-contractors and students comply with the Safety, Health & Environment, Product Safety Management, Safety & Quality Management System policy and processes.
In addition, the role provides specialist safety and quality guidance and advice across the scope of the contract to all personnel.
They shall promote safety & quality at every opportunity and ensure compliance with the M&CA Safety, Quality and Maintenance & Training Expositions and supporting procedures under the direction and guidance Safety & Quality Manager and tactically the Head of Training where required.
Employed D2D within the Integrated Training Centre (ITC) the post will be responsible for ensuring that all areas within the ITC are compliant with, and in adherence to, various governance systems detailed within contract including the Safety & Quality Management Plans, Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition (MTOE) and station policies.

Support the implementation of the quality system in the Integrated Training Centre.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, BSEN AS9100, the BAE Systems MTOE and Training Management Plan along with DSAT requirements with reference
Manage and administer the ITC SC&AR and associated actions.
Manage the SMS reporting system PrISM including Actions & issues

Security Requirements: SC
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct and/or indirect access to ITAR Material which means there are restrictions.
