The Department: Core Industries Design Engineering
The Core business unit is responsible for the growth and development of key markets including Rail, Off‑Highway, Enclosures, Enterprise Hardware, Industrial Equipment, Aerospace, Healthcare, and many more. Many of the customers and markets we serve are complex, challenging and global in nature. One of our key value propositions is being able to manage the complexity of designing with the customer in one region, whilst manufacturing and shipping globally.
The Role
We’re looking for a creative and driven individual to join us at Touch Point.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for driving the execution of our business plan and expanding our presence in key strategic markets and with key customers. You will have direct line management of several Key Account Managers across Europe, requiring you to be a highly effective sales leader and coach. You will mentor and empower your team to consistently win projects in competitive environments. Commercially astute, with a winning mindset, you will identify, filter, and prioritise opportunities to deliver profitable growth. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Requirements
* Extensive and recent experience in direct sales or commercial management within key industries, with a strong focus on technical sales and pipeline development.
* Proven track record of delivering profitable growth and successfully leading high‑impact projects and strategic initiatives.
* Demonstrated ability to drive peak sales performance within a sales team
* Experience managing, mentoring, and developing teams and/or projects in a matrix organisation.
* Tenacious, passionate, and creative problem solver with a drive to achieve exceptional results.
* Strong ability to influence, motivate, and gain commitment from others to deliver outstanding team and individual performance.
* Deep technical knowledge with demonstrable technical expertise relevant to complex sales environments.
* Ability to sell value, manage complex supply chains, and convert opportunities into measurable business growth.
* Commitment to developing people and building high‑performing teams.
