Nottinghamshire Police is seeking an outstanding and values‑driven Assistant Chief Officer (ACO) to join our Chief Officer Team and lead our Corporate and Enabling Services. This is a critical executive role that will shape our strategic direction, strengthen our organisational foundations, and ensure we provide the best possible service to the communities we serve.
As a key member of the Force Executive, you will provide strategic leadership across our resourcing portfolio including finance, people, estates, IT, procurement, governance, risk and corporate planning. You will drive transformation, deliver value for money, ensure strong stewardship of public resources and develop our enabling services to support effective, efficient operational policing.
We are looking for a senior leader with significant experience in complex organisations, a strong commercial and financial background, and a proven ability to lead change, build confidence and deliver results. You will bring a positive and inclusive leadership style, demonstrate credibility with senior partners, and operate with integrity, professionalism and a commitment to public service.
You will hold a relevant professional qualification, be educated to Master's level (or equivalent), and either have completed or be willing to complete the Police Executive Leadership Programme.

Vetting Level – Management – you must have resided in the UK for at least the last 5 years, with less than 12 months spent abroad (some exceptions for those living on a UK military base).
