Business Analyst (Systems & Process Transformation)
Location: Hybrid – Manchester
Overview
We’re working with a growing, international technology-led business that is scaling rapidly across EMEA through a combination of organic growth and acquisition. As part of that growth, they are investing heavily in systems, process standardisation, and operational maturity, and are looking to hire a commercially minded Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping how the business operates. This role sits within a central PMO function, working across multiple business units and systems in a fast-moving, multi-entity environment.
The Role
This is not a passive Business Analyst role. You’ll be responsible for driving clarity across complex environments, working closely with stakeholders to define, challenge and improve how systems and processes operate across the group. There is a strong focus on CRM and ERP platforms within the Microsoft ecosystem, but the role extends beyond core systems into broader operational and transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
Lead structured discovery workshops across commercial, operational and corporate functions
Define clear, scalable requirements including user stories, process maps and gap analysis
Own As-Is and To-Be process definition across multiple business units
Translate business needs into system-driven solutions
Act as the business-facing lead across CRM and ERP platforms, particularly within a Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment
Support ongoing system enhancements and optimisation initiatives
Work across a wider systems landscape spanning sales, operations, finance and internal tooling
Ensure alignment and consistency across processes and data
Support integration of newly acquired businesses into group systems and processes
Conduct system impact assessments and support migration planning
Lead UAT coordination and business readiness activities
Identify inefficiencies and drive simplification or automation opportunities
Maintain clear and traceable documentation aligned to PMO standards
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
Requirements
5–8+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within a systems-led environment
Strong exposure to CRM and/or ERP platforms
Experience working across multiple business functions such as commercial, operations and finance
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and influence without authority
Experience supporting system implementations, integrations or transformation initiatives
Solid understanding of end-to-end processes such as order-to-cash, reporting and data flows
Desirable
Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate or Power BI
Exposure to multi-entity or acquisition-led environments
Understanding of integrations or APIs
Background in a technology, SaaS or distribution-led business
