Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Company Secretarial Assistant to provide routine support to a portfolio of client companies. The role involves maintaining statutory registers, preparing and filing documentation, and assisting with client onboarding and disengagement procedures. Full training will be provided, and there is an opportunity to develop into a chartered governance professional.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting client companies with statutory compliance and documentation.
* Managing work in progress and billing under supervision.
* Providing administrative support to the Corporate Secretarial team.
* Assisting with client onboarding and disengagement procedures.
* Ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
* Communicating effectively with team members and clients.
* Recording time and developing technical knowledge.
* Adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Performing other ad hoc tasks as needed.
Personal and professional qualities:
* Interest in Company Law, Secretarial Practice, or Anti-Money Laundering.
* Education to at least A Level or equivalent, with good GCSE grades in English and Maths.
* Strong communication and IT skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
