Join our friendly and dynamic team as a Dietetic Support Worker within the Diabetes & Weight Management team. This role is ideal for individuals interested in nutrition, weight management, and type 2 diabetes. You will have opportunities to develop skills in supporting individuals with diet and behaviour changes. Excellent communication skills and administrative experience are essential.
The Nutrition & Clinical Dietetic Service
This service covers Fife and provides a range of Dietetic Care to children and adults in community and hospital settings. It is organized into clinical teams including Acute, Diabetes & Weight Management, Mental Health & Learning Disabilities, Nutritional Support, Older People, and Infant Nutrition & Paediatrics. The service also includes specialist Dietitians in Health Promotion, Food & Health Teams, and non-prescribing Dietitians working with oral nutritional supplements.
The Dietetic Service offers placements for undergraduate and graduate Dietetic students, involving staff in program delivery and organization. New graduates participate in a rotation across various teams to support their development. The service provides regular training, and has good administrative, IT, social media, and online resources.
