We’re offering a rare and exciting opportunity for a school leaver to begin their career in our Worcester office as a Trainee in Private Client Tax. If you’re practical, detail-oriented, and genuinely curious about how tax impacts real lives, this could be the perfect start to your journey.
About the role:
* You’ll begin your studies towards the ATT qualification, fully supported by Ballards, and on successful completion, you’ll have the opportunity to progress to the CTA qualification.
* From day one, you’ll work closely with experienced tax professionals and partners, gaining exposure to a wide variety of client situations, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estate planning.
* No two days will be the same - you'll be helping to deliver bespoke solutions across income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and more, while developing trusted relationships with our clients.
* You’ll be part of a supportive team that challenges and encourages you.
About you:
* Bright, ambitious individuals with As and Bs at GCSE and A-Level
* A genuine interest in tax, personal finance, and helping people manage their wealth responsibly
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* A proactive and mature mindset, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* A valid UK driving licence and access to your own transport (due to client visits and office location)
