We're looking to employ a motivated enthusiastic Contracts Manager to join our small but fast paced team.

About the Role:

The Contracts Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant, efficient & cost-effective delivery of scaffolding projects across commercial, industrial and domestic environments. The role ensures that all works align with CISRS and NASC guidance and meets the competence expectations defined in the CITB SKEB Competence Framework for supervisory roles.

Responsibilities:

•Ensure all scaffolding activities comply with Work at Height Regulations, CDM Regulations, TG20:21, SG4, and NASC guidance.

•Conduct regular site inspections to verify safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolds.

•Ensure RAMS, scaffold designs, handover certificates, and statutory inspection records are produced, updated, and communicated to Supervisors and scaffolders.

•Act as the responsible manager for safety-critical decisions and regulatory compliance across multiple live projects.

•Oversee all scaffolding operations from quotation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

•Coordinate resources, labour, and materials to support project delivery.

•Prepare valuations, variations, progress reports and re-quotes.

•Produce inspection list and issue to Inspectors, and complete scaffold inspections as required.

•Resolve operational risks affecting programme, cost, or safety.

•Liaise with designers for complex works and ensure all scaffold activity reflects design intent.

•Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining performance, quality and client satisfaction.

•Maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.

•Attend pre-start meetings, planning sessions, and client progress reviews.

•Provide clear communication of requirements to Supervisors, scaffolders and site management teams.

•Ensure behavioural safety, professionalism, and a positive safety culture across teams.

•Promote Everlast Group values and professional standards.


Essential Experience/Qualifications:

•Valid SMSTS qualification

•CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Card or CISRS Supervisor Card

•Full UK Drivers Licence

•Proficient in Microsoft Packages in addition to project management software and tools.

•Minimum of 5 years' experience in scaffolding management within the industrial, commercial, and domestic environments.

•Extensive knowledge of scaffolding systems, materials, and construction methods.

•Ability to plan and sequence scaffolding works safely and efficiently.

•Ability to review and interpret scaffold designs and technical drawings.

•Competent in preparing RAMS, coordinating inspections and managing variations.

•Strong leadership, supervisory, mentoring, and communication skills.

•Skilled in risk identification, mitigation, and managing safety-critical decisions.

•Comprehensive technical knowledge of scaffolding systems, temporary works, TG20/SG4, and industry safety standards.

•Understanding of CDM regulations and scaffolding related legal duties

•Knowledge of hazard identification, inspection standards, and quality assurance.

•Demonstrable experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously to safe, compliant standards.

•Experience supervising scaffolds and managing site safety.

•Experience working with design teams on complex scaffolding projects.

•Professional integrity, reliability, and accountability for safety-critical decisions.

•Strong leadership and ability to influence safe behaviours.

•Clear communicator with clients, operatives and stakeholders

•Proactive, solutions focused, and calm under pressure.

•Commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining competency.
