New NHS Opportunity – Band 7 / 8a Clinical Pharmacist | West Yorkshire
I’m pleased to share a new opportunity for an experienced Band 7 or Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist to join one of the NHS hospitals in West Yorkshire.
This is a full-time locum role (37.5 hours, Monday–Friday), working cross-site depending on service needs. Occasional evening working up to 6:00pm may be required.
Location: West Yorkshire
Start: ASAP – 3 months+
Pay Rate: £30–£36 ph umbrella (or its PAYE equivalent)
Role Highlights
* Deliver clinical pharmacy services including prescription review and medicines optimisation
* Provide expert medicines advice to healthcare professionals, patients, and carers
* Support high-risk and complex prescribing decisions
* Participate in audit, research, and service development
* Contribute to training and education across the pharmacy team
Key Requirements
* MPharm (or equivalent) and GPhC registration
* Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent)
* Previous NHS hospital experience
* Strong clinical pharmacy and medicines management knowledge
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to CPD
* Independent Prescriber qualification desirable (not essential)
* Must be eligible to work in the UK
