In this role, as an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing advanced PRISMIC control systems, including embedded software, electronics integration, and control solutions.
Responsibilities
* Develop advanced PRISMIC control systems, including embedded software, electronics integration, and control solutions.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver scalable, reliable, and high‑performance embedded systems aligned with the long‑term product roadmap.
* Design and develop embedded software using C/C++ for microcontrollers, QNX, and Embedded Linux environments.
* Support design and development of electronic hardware including PCBs, controllers, and I/O modules.
* Integrate embedded software with hardware systems to ensure seamless system performance.
* Implement industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, Ethernet, and IEC standards.
* Perform system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
* Develop test procedures and ensure compliance with system requirements and quality standards.
* Support full product lifecycle activities, including design, documentation, and field support.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and service.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer.
* Strong expertise in embedded software (C/C++), system integration, and electronics fundamentals.
* Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, or Control Engineering.
* Experience with embedded operating systems such as QNX or Embedded Linux.
* Knowledge of real‑time systems, device drivers, and debugging techniques.
* Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, IEC61850, or Ethernet‑based systems.
* Hands‑on experience in hardware troubleshooting and embedded system validation.
* Experience with GitHub or version control systems.
