About the Role
We are looking for a caring individual to support adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. The successful candidate will engage with service users, build trusting therapeutic relationships and support them in their own homes or in other settings to live independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Visit service users and provide practical support such as cooking, appointments, medication and money management
* Offer emotional support in accordance with individual support plans
* Work independently, using own initiative and ability to lone work
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Driving licence and access to a private vehicle (mileage allowance paid)
* 2+ years experience in a support or care role (preferred)
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
