Duties
* Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
* Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
* Monitor children's development and provide feedback to parents or guardians
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery area
* Ensure the health and safety of all children in the nursery
* Collaborate with other nursery practitioners and staff members
Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members
* Strong understanding of child development principles and practices
* Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for children
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors with care
* Organizational skills to plan activities, keep records, and maintain a clean nursery environment
* Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues

Schedule
* 8 hour shift between the hours of 7:30am - 6:00pm.
* Monday to Friday
* No weekends
Qualifications
Must hold minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
Experience
* Care and Education in Nursery: 2 years (required)
* Working with young children: 1 year (required)
* Childcare: 2 years (required)
* Working within a team: 1 year (required)
