We're seeking a Head of Year to join our team at Everest Community Academy, part of Bourne Education Trust.

Details

* Position: Head of Year
* Contract: Full‑time, permanent
* Salary: Teachers’ Main – Upper Pay Scale (National) £32,916‑£51,048 + TLR 2B £5,871

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the achievement, progress and pastoral provision for a year group of students.
* Have responsibility for the strategic overview of the year group, including self‑evaluation and the improvement plan for the year group.
* Monitor student progress including attendance, achievement and behaviour.


Essential Requirements

* Demonstrate awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children.
* Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
* Evidence effective continuous professional development.
