More about the role:
* Review, develop and ensure all WSH HR legal compliance policies are up to date and relevant aligning with employment legislation for UK and Ireland.
* Conduct regular horizon scanning and impact assessments for legislative changes in advance of updating or developing policies and procedures accordingly.
* Review and align WSH HR procedures across all brands to ensure they are consistent, compliant and relevant aligning with employment legislation for UK and Ireland.
* Review and align all onboarding documentation and relevant employee template forms to ensure consistency across all WSH brands and implement rollout to Directors of People
* Lead annual HR policy reviews, consultations, and approvals; ensure accessible, version‑controlled policy documentation.
* Support all WSH HR teams with consistency of procedures and support the rollout of new legislation and new initiatives in relation to UK and Ireland employment law.
* Own and manage the contracts of employment across the WSH brands ensuring sign off on changes and amendments
* Develop the relationship with external advisory suppliers for all the WSH brands and manage the overall contract, providing insights and updates as well as providing regular reporting of activity to the HR teams.
* Support the WSH brands with key administrative process for example TUPE transfers within the team and other key HR admin activity to support consistency across WSH brands
* Serve as HR lead in supporting with DSAR’s across all WSH brands as requested, research and implement any relevant DSAR technology in conjunction with the Legal team
* Support the rollout of our new HRIS in conjunction with HR Compliance and governance.
* Support the facilitation of HR compliance training across WSH
* Create clear guidance materials and FAQs; communicate changes to policies/processes company‑wide.
* Coach HR Compliance Administrators to deliver accurate, timely administration and excellent service to the business.
Qualifications
Who you are:
* 3 years + in a HR Manager role in the UK
* Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and data protection.
* CIPD Level 5 or 7 (or equivalent experience).
* Experience managing HRIS data quality and documentation controls.
* Proven ability to lead drive process improvement.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication and training delivery skills.
