Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Call Handler to join a busy outpatient appointment service within a large NHS organisation in Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities

Managing and booking outpatient appointments in line with national RTT and Cancer Waiting Time targets
*
Tracking patients along their care pathway and proactively managing waiting lists
*
Providing a high-quality, professional telephone service to patients, clinicians and internal teams
*
Using patient administration systems (e.g. CareFlow PAS) to maintain accurate and timely data
*
Liaising with clinical teams to resolve booking issues and prevent breaches
*
Managing appointment cancellations, changes and non-attendance in line with policy
*
Supporting outpatient clinics and assisting with reception duties when required
*
Identifying potential breaches and escalating appropriately
*
Supporting the training and day-to-day guidance of new or junior staff
Requirements:

Experience in a customer-focused or administrative role within a busy environment
*
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
Location - Grantham Hospital
Hours - 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
