Job Overview
We are currently recruiting a Food Factory Hygiene Assistant to support cleaning and sanitation operations within a busy food production site in the Bretton area. This is a full-time, ongoing temporary role with consistent hours and a rotating shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out scheduled deep cleaning of production areas and equipment
* Sanitising surfaces, machinery, and workstations to food safety standards
* Using approved cleaning chemicals and hygiene tools safely
* Disposing of waste and maintaining tidy work areas
* Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
* Completing cleaning records and checklists accurately
Working Hours
* 8:00am 4:00pm shifts
* Full-time rota pattern
* Must be available to work at least one weekend day each week
Requirements
* Previous cleaning or hygiene experience preferred (factory or food environment ideal)
* Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
* Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
* Comfortable working in a food production environment
