Overview
Do you have experience supporting children or adults with special educational needs? We are seeking a long-term, full-time SEND teaching assistant for a local primary-aged setting in the Bilston area with an immediate start available. The role involves working in a small class setting, supporting children who are severely autistic and global delay, alongside a teacher and another SEN TA. The team is friendly and will help you adapt to the setting and succeed in the role. The position is to start immediately but a short notice period may be acceptable for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Support children who are severely autistic and have global delay in a small class setting.
* Collaborate with a teacher and another SEN TA in-school to adapt to the setting and support students’ education and personal development.
* Attend a face-to-face interview with Axcis to demonstrate suitability for the role.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Must be suitably qualified for the position advertised.
* Be prepared to provide an up-to-date DBS or allow Axcis to process one on your behalf, in line with DfE guidelines and mandatory checks.
* Ability to attend an in-person interview to demonstrate suitability for the role.

* Salary/pay rate will be dependent on skills and experience.
* This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.
