As a Maths teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, supporting students' learning in one of the most essential and rewarding subjects in the curriculum. Key Responsibilities: Lesson Planning & Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students, ensuring that the content is engaging and accessible to all learners. Student Progress Monitoring: Assess student work regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to help students reach their full potential. Behaviour Management: Implement effective strategies to manage behaviour and create a positive, focused learning environment. Support for Differentiation: Ensure lessons are differentiated to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional learning needs and those who are excelling. Collaboration: Work closely with other subject teachers and staff to ensure the best outcomes for students, contributing to whole-school improvement efforts. Key Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A qualified Maths teacher with a recognised teaching qualification. Subject Expertise: A strong background in teaching Maths at secondary level, including Key Stage 3 and 4. Classroom Management: Experience in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment. Commitment to Student Success: A passion for Maths and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential. Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and parents. DBS Check: Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
