Midsomer Norton Primary School is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time, fixed term position for 27.75 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 3.30PM, Friday 8.30am - 12.15pm term time only plus two Inset days. We are excited to be seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teaching assistant to join our Specialist Resource Base (SRB) provision. Our SRB first opened its doors in September 2023 and is designed to provide exceptional education and support for children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) whose primary need is a Specific Learning Difficulty (SPLD). This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering provision, working closely with a supportive team to shape the educational journey of our students. You will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children with SPLD can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
