The Role
Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners conduct brief assessments and provide interventions via telephone to support mental health and wellbeing, including risk de-escalation and emotional regulation coaching.
Key Responsibilities
* Support mental wellbeing of patients
* Promote positive mental health using behavioural techniques
* Work within a multidisciplinary team
* Support diverse callers, considering cultural and social factors
* Perform mental health triage assessments
* Undertake clinical risk assessments
* Stay informed of relevant legislation and policies
* Ensure high standards of intervention based on current evidence
Candidate Requirements
* Graduate qualification or relevant experience
* Experience in mental health and wellbeing practice
* Ability to apply evidence-based psychological therapies
* Experience in needs assessment and care planning
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently
* Organisational skills for managing complex information
Salary and Benefits
Band 5, £31,892 - £39,735, with enhanced pay rates for weekends and evenings. Benefits include a comprehensive package and a permanent contract.
