IT Infrastructure and Security Engineer – Omagh – £35-40K The Role: Responsible for the design, implementation, support and continuous improvement of the organisations IT infrastructure and associated security controls The role combines hands on infrastructure engineering with embedded security responsibilities, ensuring that systems are available, resilient, secure and compliant with organisational policies and recognised standards (Including ISO 27001 and GDPR aligned controls) The role is operational and technical, supporting day to day infrastructure and security requirements while contributing to projects, audits and CI initiatives. Essential Criteria: 1 Years’ experience in an IT Infrastructure or Security Engineering role Third level qualification in am IT related subject Flexible working essential to be able to deal with issues outside standard business hours / weekends Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Networking Fundamentals (Firewalls, VPNS, Switching, Routing) Strong troubleshooting and incident handling skills Desirable Criteria: Experience in Azure and MS 365 security features Familiarity with ISO 27001 or security audit process Knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response Relevant certifications – Microsoft, Cisco, Security, ITIL For more information about the IT Infrastructure and Security role, please call Karen Nicholson at NI Resourcing on 07734033430, or send your CV through the link
