We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, HCPC registered prosthetist to lead WestMARC’s Prosthetics service.
About the Role
Based at the QEUH campus in Glasgow, you will lead the West of Scotland consortium prosthetics service – a team of approximately 25 clinical and technical staff – serving a region of 3 million people, with an active patient population of around 3,000. You will be NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s professional lead for Prosthetists, and also manage a small clinical caseload.
Through collaboration with the local team and the Scottish Specialist Prosthetic Service, you will develop and deliver a vision for the service that will adapt to the ever-changing healthcare environment.
Who We’re Looking For
Professional and strategic leadership are significant parts of this post; therefore you must possess highly developed communication, management and influencing skills, alongside clinical, technical and service improvement expertise. You will lead and manage a large team delivering a complex, safety‑critical clinical service.
Benefits and Working Conditions
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde recognises the importance of work‑life balance and is committed to offering flexible working options where service needs allow. Flexible working will be included as a topic for discussion during the recruitment process.
