A client within the Public Sector based in Worcestershire is currently recruiting for a Surveyor to join their Housing Repairs and Maintenance team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing maintenance and energy efficiency environment. The Role Key purpose of the role is to provide an effective and customer-focused housing repairs and maintenance service, with a strong emphasis on improving energy efficiency and ensuring statutory compliance across the housing stock. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Undertaking property inspections including voids, tenanted stock, and energy efficiency assessments • Preparing specifications for improvement works including insulation, ventilation, and heating systems • Managing contractor performance and ensuring quality of works delivered • Carrying out stock condition surveys and drafting contract documentation • Monitoring and reporting on budgets related to energy efficiency and planned works • Ensuring compliance with CDM, asbestos regulations, and other health & safety legislation • Liaising with tenants, contractors, and internal departments to deliver capital projects and maintenance services The Candidate To be considered for this role, you will require: • A ...
