An exciting opportunity to join Dowty's sourcing organisation and have a meaningful impact on the organisation's ability to deliver. Reporting to the Sr Material Delivery Leader, you will be working closely with Dowty Suppliers and internal stakeholders to materially enable the business. Owning orderbook management for a portfolio of suppliers and driving on time delivery whilst reducing arears and executing expedites you will support the achievement of business level delivery to our customers.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Analyse and report on supplier delivery performance ensuring early deliveries and arrears are managed effectively
2. Work with suppliers to expedite critical goods and services that directly or indirectly cause risk to on time delivery to Dowty and its customers
3. Be able to represent the business at all levels within the supplier to drive performance and orderbook excellence to ensure the most responsive outcome
4. Identify risks that impact supplier on time delivery and develop action plans with the supplier to get early intervention. Working with poor performing suppliers to set and drive recovery plans as required
5. Understand and be aware of any other LTA/Contract requirements that support delivery performance requirements and work with supplier to enforce those
