Overview
The Mobile Service Engineer diagnoses and resolves electrical and mechanical issues remotely, providing technical assistance to customers and involved in the installation of company products. You will troubleshoot and repair systems and take an active lead in servicing equipment.
Responsibilities
* Repairing faults in machinery and equipment
* Servicing equipment remotely
* Creating preventative maintenance strategies
* Performing preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Troubleshooting problems with equipment and determining the cause of the issues
* Installing new equipment when necessary (e.g., computers or other machinery)
* Planning servicing work in advance to avoid impact on factory output
* Managing your mobile office/workspace and ensuring all spare parts and tools are on hand
* Delivering services to customers effectively and on time from your remote workshop
* Monitoring and maintaining electrical equipment or machinery performance
* Guiding customers on how equipment works and how to use it safely
* Explaining new features and suggesting upgrades to customers
* Ordering and restocking materials when required in your mobile environment
* Driving duties essential
Qualifications
* A Level of IT skills required
* Experience in Drainage CCTV equipment repair is advantageous
* Driving Licence
* Electrical/Mechanical qualifications
