Pertemps West Bromwich are currently looking for a rolling mill operator for a well established manufacturer based in Oldbury.
Key Responsibilities
o
# Set up and operate rolling mill/roll forming machinery according to production specifications
# Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain product quality
# Conduct routine checks and inspections to ensure all products meet required standards
# Perform basic maintenance for minor machine issues
# Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
# Ensure production targets are met within established timeframes
# Follow all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work area
# Complete required production paperwork accurately
Requirements
o Previous experience operating roll forming/rolling mill machines
o Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
o Ability to read technical drawings, measurements, and specifications
o Good understanding of manufacturing safety practices
o Excellent attention to detail
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours: This will be a fixed night shift working 18:00-04:30 Monday-Wednesday and 18:00-01:00 Thursday.
Pay: The rate of pay to start would be either £15.56 per hour or £16.48 per hour dependant on experience with a night shift allowance on top. This would be a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
