The successful candidate will support the inspection, testing, and maintenance of cathodic protection systems across the South region of the UK.CP Technician (Cathodic Protection) Permanent positionSalary: £32,000 - £38,000 (DOE) + overtimeMonday to FridayMilton Keynes (with travel across the South of the UK)CP Technician (Cathodic Protection) Job Description • Carry out cathodic protection surveys, inspections, and testing activities across multiple sites• Monitor and maintain CP systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to corrosion and CP system performance• Interpret survey data and produce accurate technical reports and documentation• Update and maintain drawings, maps, and system records• Work with databases, GIS tools, and CMMS systems to manage asset information• Liaise with internal teams and clients to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently• Travel across the South of the UK, including occasional overnight stays• Support continuous improvement of corrosion management practicesCP Technician (Cathodic Protection) Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications • Minimum ICORR Level 2 Certification (or equivalent)• Proven experience in cathodic protection or corrosion management within pipelines, terminals, or similar high-hazard environments• Strong understanding of cathodic protection principles, survey techniques, and associated equipment• Ability to troubleshoot CP systems and interpret technical data• Experience using databases, GIS tools, and CMMS systems• Ability to prepare and update technical drawings, maps, and reports with accuracy• Strong communication and organisational skills• Ability to work independently across multiple sites• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including overnight stays If you feel you're a good fit for this position, please click 'apply'.
