Join to apply for the Senior HR Advisor role at NHS Golden Jubilee.
An opportunity has arisen to join our existing team for a Senior HR Advisor. You will provide a professional and comprehensive generalist Human Resources service to managers, staff and staff side representatives across the organisation. You will contribute to the development of policies and procedures which meet best practice, current legislation and national policies and support the wider team in the delivery of policy training programmes.
The successful candidate will be postgraduate CIPD qualified with significant practical HR experience within a large organisation, preferably gained within the public sector. Knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, terms and conditions of service relevant to NHS staff and NHS Scotland Policies/PIN Guidelines is key, as is the ability to work on your own initiative, planning and organising your own workload. Excellent communication, influencing, mediation, project and people management skills together with a creative approach to problem solving are essential in this role. This role involves hybrid working.

Responsibilities

* Offer HR advice and support across areas such as employee relations, terms and conditions of service, employment legislation, equal opportunities and employee development.
* Contribute to policy and procedure development to meet best practice, current legislation and national policies; support policy training programmes.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Postgraduate CIPD qualification with significant practical HR experience in a large organisation (public sector preferred).
* Knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, terms and conditions of service relevant to NHS staff and familiarity with NHS Scotland Policies/PIN Guidelines.
* Ability to work on own initiative, plan and organise workload; excellent communication, influencing, mediation, project and people management skills; creative problem solving.
