ITS Building People is one of the UK's leading construction recruitment businesses, with over 50 years of industry experience and a network of 19 offices nationwide. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Recruitment Apprentice to join our Southampton office.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable business experience, earn whilst they learn and develop a long-term career within recruitment.

No previous recruitment experience is required. We are looking for the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.

The Opportunity

As a Recruitment Apprentice, you will learn all aspects of recruitment whilst supporting our consultants in sourcing, attracting and registering candidates for construction vacancies across the South Coast.

Working alongside experienced recruiters and managers, you'll receive structured training, hands-on experience and ongoing support as you develop your skills and confidence.

This role provides an excellent foundation for a long-term career within recruitment, sales, business development and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing candidates through job boards, advertising and social media.
• Speaking with candidates to assess their suitability for vacancies.
• Registering candidates and completing compliance documentation.
• Maintaining regular contact with candidates regarding current opportunities.
• Writing and posting job advertisements.
• Assisting consultants with filling vacancies.
• Updating and maintaining candidate records within the company CRM system.
• Learning recruitment processes, employment legislation and industry best practices.

Previous experience within customer service, retail, hospitality, administration or sales would be beneficial but is not essential.
