Commercial Partnerships Executive Location : The Valley, South East London or as required Salary : £28,500 Hours : 40 hours per week as directed by your line manager Closing date : 4 th August 2025 The Commercial Partnerships Executive will drive forward Charlton Athletic’s Commercial Partnership Programme, ensuring best-in-class delivery across both partner servicing and new business acquisition. The role supports the club’s broader transformation efforts by enhancing commercial value through strategic partnerships. This role is pivotal in managing relationships with club partners—delivering contractual rights, proposing innovative activations, and ensuring objectives are met and exceeded. The Commercial Partnerships Executive will be the key contact for partners and a proactive contributor to identifying new commercial opportunities, with support from senior members of the commercial team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Build and maintain effective relationships with existing partners, acting as their main point of contact. · Deliver all partnership rights and benefits in a timely and quality-controlled manner. · Track, manage, and report on partnership deliverables and KPIs. · Proactively develop creative activations that align with both partner and club goals. · Identify and pitch to prospective new partners. · Collaborate with internal teams to fulfil partnership objectives and explore upsell opportunities. · Support the Commercial Partnerships Manager and Commercial Director in broader commercial initiatives. · Contribute to departmental projects alongside commercial team colleagues. MAIN JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PERSON SPECIFICATION Person Specification – Essential Passion for football and a desire to grow within the commercial sports industry. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to build rapport quickly with internal and external stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Self-motivated and able to work independently and proactively. Strategic thinker with a flair for marketing and partnership activation. Person Specification – Desirable Previous experience in a commercial or marketing role within sport or entertainment. Familiarity with CRM tools or partnership tracking platforms. Experience developing brand activations or marketing campaigns. Understanding of shared value principles in business partnerships. Knowledge of Charlton Athletic and its community footprint.
