The successful candidate will lead shifts, administer medication, support and guide care staff, and undertake key working roles involving Support Planning, review processes, and risk assessments for older adults. A person-centred approach to delivering high standards of flexible, responsive care is essential, promoting independence and skills among service users.
Previous experience in social care is required. Ideally, candidates will hold an SVQ 3 in Social Care or, at minimum, an SVQ 2 with a willingness to achieve SVQ 3 within five years for registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home Service for Adults.
This permanent part-time role involves 19.8 hours on a three-week rota, including day, evening, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts, with enhancements for non-standard hours.
