New College Pontefract is seeking an exceptional Teacher of Spoken French to join our welcoming and high-performing modern languages team.
The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher with a passion for French and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities within the 16–19 age range. You will have a demonstrable record of outstanding results and a strong commitment to raising aspirations and contributing to the wider college community.
If you are currently completing initial teacher training, you must be able to demonstrate outstanding potential and a clear aptitude for post-16 teaching.
For candidates seeking a full-time position, we provide the option to combine this position with a role in our Study Support department, where you will help build resilience, confidence, and aspiration in students facing additional challenges. Flexibility, empathy, and confidentiality are essential as you support students’ individual educational and pastoral needs.
